Scenic Turtle Ridge is a thirty-five plus acre farm, happily bordered by the Brandywine River, at least 1,000 acres of park ground (with seemingly endless trails and other features), and the Hatfield-Hibernia National Historic District.
Hibernia Park, Maps, Trails and Images
Bordering Scenic Turtle Ridge is extended natural open-space. Click for a tour that includes the Brandywine River, and in Hibernia Park, Chambers Lake, numerous trails and sights. Don't forget hiking, biking, fishing, bird watching and other outdoor activities. REMEMBER: Scenic Turtle Ridge is near the park's Rim Trail when looking at maps. Hatfiled-Hibernia National Historic District
Also bordering Scenic Turtle Ridge is the Hatfiled-Hibernia National Historic District. The Hibernia Church is an historic church of the time, and many homes in the district were restored by the Conti's as they sought to form the district.
Hibernia Mansion
Hibernia Mansion located within Hibernia Park has been carefully restored to what it was in its grandest period. Tours are offered at times (inquire with the park for a schedule). It can be part of a hiking experience as you visit the area.
